Beachside Battle – Washer Toss Tournament
🌊 Get ready for fun in the sun by the ocean at Venice Pier! 🌊
Join us for the Beachside Battle, an exciting washer toss tournament hosted by the Marx Mob in partnership with the Toss Washer Association (TWA)! This free, members-only event will feature random team pairings, where you’ll team up with a partner (randomly selected) to compete in an epic showdown of skill, precision, and friendly competition.
Tournament Format:
- Teams of two will go head-to-head in a tournament-style competition.
- Each game is played until one team reaches 21 points.
- Random team pairings, so you’ll meet new friends and maybe even find a new competitive partner!
How to Play:
- Two games will be set 12 feet apart, with each team given 4 throwing washers.
- The middle hole of the board is worth 3 points, while any washer landing inside the box (but not the hole) earns 1 point.
- Teams can cancel out each other’s points during a turn—if one team scores 3 points and the other scores 1, the first team only earns 2 points for that round.
- The first team to reach 21 points wins the game!
Prizes:
- The winning team will take home a fantastic prize, so bring your A-game!
